Oh how nice it is to sleep in past sunrise once in a while and stay in your pyjamas watching crappy morning television. Once I’d dragged myself into the land of the living I ate two bowls of cereal, a tub of yoghurt, a tub of fruit pieces and two pieces of toast. I visited the local library to find a computer and complete what I hope is my last round of online purchases to perfect my bike setup, then ate a large Grand Angus meal with a coke (a former HJ’s devotee, I now enjoy Maccas every once in a while instead). I watched some more TV, went grocery shopping, ate a steak and mushroom pie, watched some more TV and then ate a large pizza, bucket of chips, lemonade and a Cadbury Boost. There I was only one thing I could do next: lie down to give my body a chance to focus exclusively on digestion. I am astonished at the amount of food I’m starting to put away. Especially sugar. I think I am addicted to sugar. I quite happily eat a whole packet of lollies in one sitting, then crave more several hours later.
