Riding with someone else is proving to be a good test of patience. I have spent so long doing my own thing that it is challenging to suddenly ride at a pace that isn’t my natural one. The downside is that it means spending more time on boring roads, more nights camping in mosquito-infested bogs and more food and water to carry. The upside is the amazing company off the bike – someone to chat with, cook dinner with, watch the sun set with and say goodnight to. All the while Coral Bay is slowly getting closer.
