The rolling hills leading into Coral Bay seemed like they would never end, but eventually they did and the ocean opened up before us. We made it. The atmosphere was very welcoming: barefoot people dawdling through town, an inviting beach with calm seas, a relaxed holiday feel. We grabbed the second last spot available in the caravan park by the beach and set up camp before going for a walk, making dinner and crashing into bed with no alarm set. It has been 15 days since my last rest day. Far too long. Today we came across this Thorny Devil crossing the road.
