I love capsicums, especially red, orange and yellow ones. After much deliberation, I have resigned myself to the fact that I can no longer carry capsicums with me. In the heat they are too easily starting to soften, split and degrade into a sloppy, sour mess. It is a sad day. I am camped at House Creek Rest Area after another mammoth ride. I stopped listening to music because it feels like blasphemy in the Pilbara. Quiet serenity (except for the small creaks of a laden bike) is what suits this open landscape.
