Today was one of the more relaxing days I have had lately. I was up at sunrise once again, hiking out to Dales Gorge, Circular Pool, Fern Pool, and Fortescue Falls. I had a nice swim at Fern Pool and just had to jump off the waterfall. Later, I found a secluded spot in the gorge and spent a couple of hours designing my ‘tiny house’. I returned to Fern Pool for another swim and lie down. In the evening I went to Phil’s astronomy show (he had also moved across from the Eco Retreat), to which he had invited me for free. Despite heavy cloud cover putting a dampener on the proceedings, the small display he was able to offer was impressive. We really are an insignificant speck in an ever-expanding universe and there is surely much more life out there. I learned we are polluting our atmosphere with so much space junk that it is becoming dangerous for humans to launch into space for fear that the rocket will collide with the human-made debris that is orbiting the planet.
