I continued cruising along the rail access track. As the day wore on I became increasingly frustrated with the corrugations and a few expletives crossed my lips. Tiredness is probably as much to blame as the road conditions though. My legs are shot and I’m ready for a break. Fortunately for me I reached South Hedland today. Right now I’m in a donga in a caravan park and have spent the evening with my eyes glued to the TV for too long. It’s late. I should be sleeping but the distraction that TV offers helps me to forget about where I am and why I’m here. Sometimes it’s nice to completely forget about my bike ride.
