I got up early so I could wander over to Research and farewell the girls who were leaving. Back to work, I joined the Tent Team and helped pack down seven safari tents, as well as other camping equipment. In the afternoon, Willy, Jordan and I drove out to Cadjeput to fill up hessian bags with sand. These will be placed across doorways to avoid water damage during wet season flooding. In the evening, I joined a group on Savanna Hill where a park bench provides a stunning view. It was Ginny’s last night. We ate blue cheese, tomato/peach salsa, crackers, freshly made bread and sliced apple. A helicopter piloted by Butch, with passengers Toby and Rich, did a close fly by.
