Day 194 (Australia – The Gibb Day 35)
My legs were so incredibly close to breaking point today. There is so little energy left in my body now. I left El Questro at 6.45am and filmed my Pentecost River crossing on the way out (Jannis joined me to get some shots too). Then I rode to Emma Gorge, saying bye to Daisy and Regan as they drove past. I caught up with Jannis, Sanne and Rachel at the gorge. After a refreshing swim, we walked back to the carpark together where we shared a quick picnic lunch and a farewell. Then ride, ride, ride. I rode through incredible scenery but was too tired to take it all in. I reached the official end of the Gibb River Road and filmed the end of my video. Then ride, ride, ride. I arrived at Shiona and Quinn’s house after dark around 7pm, more than 12 hours after I had left El Questro. There was dinner waiting for me along with a comfortable bed. I am too tired to reflect on the fact that I completed the mighty Gibb. I have never felt more exhausted in my life.

Bye for now
