Day 242 (Australia – Perth)

More catching up with people: I had lunch with Trang in the city, afternoon tea with Roger in the Herne Hill and dinner with Dan in Darlington. Saying goodbye to everyone has made me realise I am ready for what’s ahead. I am only looking forward. This is my life now. I have no doubts. No reservations. Just pure excitement about what’s to come.

Yujuuu! Feel excited for you mate! Is not even my trip haha but I could imagine!where you going next, was it Asia? So, just read a book by Sarah marquis called wild by nature where she talks about her walking from Siberia to (actually) Perth. I reckon walking or riding give you an understanding of the road more.. don’t know raw? Pretty awesome a woman’s prespective though, no much books about Girls traveling. Is a good one if you’re interested. Anyways, buen viaje hombre!

Hi Zantte. Yes, over to Timor-Leste next! You’re right…to move slowly and have no barrier (not even a window) between you and the world is pretty special. Thanks so much for that book recommendation. That’s the first I’ve heard of Sarah’s journey and it sounds amazing. Definitely going to add it to my kindle.
