My free breakfast at my Padangbai guesthouse was an omelette and toast, cooked to order, as well as all-you-can-eat fresh fruit. Delicious! I rode hard down the coast, at times closely tailing trucks to utilise their slipstream. Things became increasingly hectic as I started entering Denpasar, but heavy traffic doesn’t really faze me anymore. There were a few close calls when scooter riders pulled out in front of me. Why do they never look?! I worked my way to Keroboban where I hoped to find a self-storage facility for my bike and gear. I found it and it was closed. I gathered my thoughts over an awesome lunch at a nearby warung and decided to stay at a hotel I had passed just down the road. I want to put my stuff in storage so I can take advantage of cheap (AU$100) flights back home to Perth to spend some time with family and friends. A break from the bike will also give my bum some proper time to recover from its saddle sore issues.
