– The adventures of a solo round the world cyclist –

Day 336 (Australia – R & R)

I submitted my application. I’ve got little chance of winning, but I still value the time I spent making the video for what it taught me about video editing, at which I have basically zero experience. I am now confident I can turn footage from my bike trip into something that is at least slightly interesting. In the afternoon I headed out with mum to pick up my sister’s car, which she is letting me use while I am home. It hit me on the way home that I hadn’t been out of parents’ house since I got home, not even to step out onto the balcony. In the evening I joined dad for a long walk along the river. Dinner was magnificent again, because it wasn’t rice! Crumbed lamb chops with mashed potato and vegetables soaked in gravy.

      Hi guys!

No it’s certainly not the end. Remember that my online diary is one year behind real time, which means this all happened a year ago. Since this visit home, I returned to Bali and continued riding through South East Asia and into Myanmar where I met you.

The dream is certainly not over…yet!
(I’m scared of what the answer will be at the end of this year…)
