I entered the day with renewed confidence about my time at the school. No longer was I stressing over English classes. The only thing I had to deal with were questions about where I’d been for the last couple of days, but I managed to brush these off without having to explain my desire to escape the school and its occupants for a while. After breakfast and morning assemblies I joined Madan in his office for a catch up. We arranged for me to talk to students from those year groups I hadn’t officially met. I took over an open space in a hall at the top of the classroom building and set up a fake camp with all my gear on display. I then conducted six talks to students ranging from six to 15 years old. This filled my day. After packing everything up I chilled out in the cafeteria where the hostellers were busy completing homework. I chatted with two girls who were very fun to talk to. One created a cute card for me as we talked and I drew them each a picture. After dinner I hung out with the Class 10 boys for a while before moving upstairs to my room to finish editing the Sports Day video. It’s now midnight and I have finally got the video processing into a file.
