On waking up, my video was ready for viewing. It was 99% fine, but 99% fine isn’t good enough. One part of dialogue was relatively quiet and I didn’t like one of the transitions between two clips. With this in mind, I left the hostel and cycled to the Turkmenistan Embassy, where after a short wait I was disappointed to hear that my visa had not been granted yet and that I should return on Monday. Cycling to and from the embassy took one and a half hours. When I returned home, I made the required changes to my video and recommenced the processing. Through the afternoon I worked on my travel grant application, the research for which is introducing me to the wonderfully challenging world of travel in West Africa. After dinner my video had completed processing. I immediately opened YouTube and began the uploading. If the last hour is anything to go by, it is going to be quite a while before the upload is complete.
